Since 2015, Doriane Labrosse has joined the family business to continue promoting its philosophy of collaboration and impeccable quality. Our predominantly female management team works to promote the integration of women in the construction industry while supporting our various installation teams – some of whom have been with us since the very beginning! Our installers have developed unique expertise in completing projects that are both prestigious and complex.

1978

After working for 35 years in floor coverings, Pierre Labrosse created the company Pierre Labrosse et associés specializing in residential floor coverings.

1982

Yves Labrosse founded Couvre-Planchers Labrosse , marking a major turning point in the company's history. Under his leadership, the organization structured itself, developed its commercial division, and gradually evolved into the recognized company it is today.

1987

After the transfer of the company to the second generation, Yves Labrosse focused his activities exclusively on commercial flooring , contributing to the development and specialization of this sector within the company.

1999

As the first independent distributor of floor coverings associated with the multinational DuPont , Couvre-planchers Labrosse adopts the name CPL – DuPont Floor Covering Systems .

This same period also marks the creation of the Solucare maintenance division , expanding the company's range of services.

2005

Labrosse Flooring has become a member of the Starnet Worldwide Commercial Flooring Partnership network, as one of the first Canadian members , approached by the network for its recognized expertise in the commercial flooring sector. With its divisions CPL, Solucare, and Solulift, the company is rebranding as CPL Solutions.

2017

CPL wins gold in the Corporate Space category for the Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton project in Montreal , at the 20th edition of the Starnet Worldwide Commercial Design Awards , one of the industry's biggest accolades.

2022

CPL Solutions distinguishes itself by offering an integrated commercial flooring solution , encompassing installation, maintenance, and manufacturing-distribution of its collection of engineered wood flooring.

Doriane Labrosse takes over the management of the engineered wood line. The Labrosse wood flooring collection , manufactured in Quebec, occupies a prominent place in the commercial and residential flooring market.

2025

CPL Solutions, through its Labrosse Flooring division, has once again demonstrated its expertise and commitment to excellence by winning three major awards at the 2025 Starnet Design Awards . These awards highlight the innovation, quality of execution, and technical rigor of our flooring projects in large-scale commercial environments.

2026

Nathan Lapointe joins CPL Solutions as a partner , contributing to the company's growth and strategic evolution. Doriane Labrosse and Nathan Lapointe take over the company , which officially adopts the name Couvre-Planchers Labrosse .
