1. The grade of your floor

The grades determine the aesthetics and character of your flooring. Depending on the grade chosen, the wood's appearance can be more uniform or, conversely, reveal more of its natural character. This distinction helps you select the grade that best suits your taste and the atmosphere you wish to create.

Prima

Uniform grade timber offering a high-end appearance and excellent visual consistency. Homogeneous color, subtle grain, and a mostly knot-free appearance. Very small, sound knots may occasionally be tolerated.

Classic

A wood blend with moderate natural color variations, enhanced by character to showcase the wood's richness. Sound knots are acceptable and an integral part of the overall appearance.

Rustic

A blend of woods with marked color variations, highlighting the natural contrast between heartwood and sapwood. This grade offers an authentic and expressive appearance, where visible knots and a darker, more pronounced grain define its character.

2. The texture of your floor

Textures influence the feel and overall appearance of your floor. Depending on the option chosen, the surface can be smooth , for a clean and uniform look, or brushed , to highlight the wood grain and accentuate its natural character. This choice allows you to tailor the texture of your floor to your style and the atmosphere you wish to create.

3. The color of your floor

The colors define the ambiance and personality of your floor. Our CPL collection offers 12 carefully selected colors , ranging from more natural tones to bolder finishes. For a fully customized project, we also offer the option of creating bespoke colors . This flexibility allows you to choose the shade that best suits your preferences and the atmosphere you wish to create.

4. The finish of your floor

The UV finish on our engineered wood floors is factory-applied to ensure uniformity and durability. Available in a matte sheen , it enhances the natural wood grain with a subtle sheen. Compliant with Canadian standards and with low VOC emissions, it reflects a responsible and sustainable approach. 35-year residential warranty and 3-year light commercial warranty. An oiled finish option is also available.
